We treat all types of mental illness, including depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, eating disorders, ADHD, psychosis, bipolar, insomnia and personality disorders.

Psychiatry is evolving, and we pride ourselves on offering the newest evidence-based treatments. This includes Transmagnetic Cranial Stimulation (TMS), and Integrative Psychiatry. Learn more about these treatments here.

Laure Liverman, PMHNP currently take Medicare, Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, and Anthem/BlueCrossBlueShield. Kristina Meginley, PMHNP currently takes United Healthcare and Medicare. Dr. Aal does not take insurance. Your out of pocket cost will depend on your copay, coinsurance, and deductible.
 
All insurance claims are billed through Boulder Center for TMS (BCTMS), our affiliated clinic. This does not affect your provider, care plan, or location — it is simply how insurance billing is processed.
 
We do not see Medicaid patients. Colorado law prohibits providers from collecting any payment from a Medicaid recipient for services that are covered by Medicaid, even if the recipient pays cash.

No, but we can almost always get you in the next day! If you need urgent non life-threatening medical attention please call our clinic and we would be happy to help you.

Our primary services focus on psychiatric evaluation, medication consultation, and ongoing medication management. However, our providers may also include supportive talk therapy or counseling as part of your sessions. In many cases, we may recommend working with a separate therapist for dedicated psychotherapy while we coordinate your overall treatment plan together.

For Dr. Aal, the initial evaluation is 299$. After your evaluation, we will discuss whether 15 min or 30 min follow-ups are better for your situation. 15 min follow-up appointments are 99$ and 30 min follow-ups are 199$.

While TMS is generally considered safe, there are some potential side effects, including scalp discomfort, headache, lightheadedness, and dizziness. In rare cases, TMS can also cause seizures. People with metallic implants or pacemakers should not undergo TMS. As with any medical procedure, it is important to speak with a doctor to determine if TMS is right for you.
